About Our Event
Run Away With My Heart run will take place on Saturday, February 12, 2011. We have a fun-filled event planned for your entire family to enjoy. Whether you’re a serious runner or a recreational walker, there’s something for you!
*(ages 12 and under)
While you're enjoying the beautiful scenery, you’ll be greeted with friendly volunteers and encounter a few surprises along the way. And of course, you will benefit from the fully-stocked running stations and, if needed, a medical team.
Runners and walkers will receive a well-stocked goodie bag including a Run Away With My Heart T-Shirt! And we invite you to stay and enjoy the Post-Race Party with great food and entertainment.
Chip Timing
Professional race timing chips (D-Tags) will be provided to ensure accurate race times and results for participants in all events.

This year, RAWMH's sponsors have generiously donated prizes for the overall winners. Here are the prize packages for 2011:

The winner will enjoy the use of a BMW for the weekend, a voucher towards a stay at any participating Marriott Hotel, and dinner for two at Carrabba's Restaurant.

Whoever receives this prize will enjoy a basket of spa goodies from VillaSport, a Pandora bracelet along with a special heart bead, and $200 worth of additional beads of your choice!

Just in time for Spring, Woodland's Landscaping is giving the winner of this prize $2,000 worth of landscaping, maintenance, or irrigation. Table for Four (courtesy of Crescent Moon Wine Bar).
Get a few of your friends together for Sunday Brunch! Crescent Moon is donating brunch for four with bottomless Mimosas.
Awards & Prizes will be handed out the day of the race only. One prize package per winner. Please stay and enjoy the food and entertainment.
Race Day Parking
Parking will be available at the Birnham Woods Elementary School parking lot. The parking area is a short distance to the starting line. There will also be parking available along the streets, adjacent to the school. Attendants will direct participants to parking areas. Organizers ask that you carpool, if possible, to minimize the amount of traffic in the area.

Official race photos will be provided by Your Sporting Image. An email will be sent to you with links to your images.

REFUNDS
There will be no refunds offered for this event, including weather-related cancellations.
WEATHER
Due to the nature of the trail, inclement weather could create hazardous running conditions. If weather prevents the event from occurring, the organizers will post an update on this website no later than 4:00 am on raceday. The event will not be rescheduled should this occur.
RESTRICTIONS
All runners will be required to wear a bib. Due to the nature of the course, no wheeled equipment (including bicycles, wagons, strollers, jogging strollers, roller skates, rollerblades, etc.) will be permitted. Pets are not allowed on the course. Please email info@runawaywithmyheart.com for more information on restrictions.
